First who is in the mobile business knows perfectly that what Apple is doing is what Operators/Carriers have done forever. Lock their customers. Nothing wrong here. But in some markets works, in others, more mature, does not work anymore. But Apple is not the market, it’s a minor part of the market. A successful one (for them), but close. The fact that you need an apple device to develop for their other devices tells you where is their business. It’s working for them so no issue. Maybe! The iPhone is great, for some, not for all. And in US it’s like the Tamagogi! Every cool kid has it. Right, ask them which previous phone they had!
